I've had an interesting weekend. Friday our main freezer died so we had to set up our older smaller freezer, from back when only five people lived here. Saturday our fridge died and its still not working at full power. So when the Sunday paper came in I handed Mother the appliance adds and told her to have fun searching. She got her revenge though.

Sunday afternoon Zack's crib and changing table arrived and Mother tricked me into going to put it together. It was a lot of fun though. Especially after she held the instructions upside down and said we would have to flip the crib. This is why she's supposed to do the heavy lifting and I'm supposed to handle the instruction booklet.

Yesterday was fun too. I filled the pool for Riggs and left him outside for a few hours so I could have some peace. Then when I left him in he jumped on the couch and fell asleep in front of the AC. The couch now smells like wet dog and the backyard is probably going to be soaked again today. At least if Riggs decides swimming is more fun than putting up the tent. I get to set up the big tent too! So I can have a space separate from Riggs and keep an air mattress!

That will have to wait though. I have to climb over Audrey's dresser to plug in the phone she didn't want. Hopefully that will be the last of her complaints. If not I'll be in a tent in the back yard, ignoring her phone calls and pretending to sleep. Wish me luck.
